What we are going to build

This section aims to teach you the basic principles of building a good but simple UI/UX with Bubble. This includes:
  • App architecture and navigation
  • Mobile UI/UX design principles
  • Creating a great first impression (landing + onboarding)
  • Building most common screens & design patterns
  • Notifications

For this purpose, we will build a simple 'dating' app for dogs called 'Puppster'. It's essentially an app for dog owners to find other dog owners and interact via direct messaging to set up play dates for their pets.

⚠️ To follow the coming lessons, I recommend getting the template above and creating a new app from it, so you can follow along and play around with it.

Please note that the app we will build is simpler than a version you would usually build if you intend to launch the app. The intention of building this app is to learn the most important design principles and approaches, not design and implement all the nitty gritty details.
